Therefore, an intelligent and efficient light control system that saves energy and cost of energy consumption of light in our day to day activities for rooms was assembled. The problem of expensive cost in lighting system, increase in energy consumption bills and energy wastage led to the introduction of smart lighting. It is mostly used in public buildings in order to save energy maximally from lighting system and to satisfy codes of buildings. It provides interaction between systems in order to regulate light. It can sense the indoor light source and adjust the angle of the blinds during the day, and introduce daylight to achieve the effect of adjusting the indoor light.Ī lighting control system is an intelligent connection of lighting that control the amount of light in a given space. This article hopes that the blinds can detect the brightness given by the outside world to adjust and change the angle of its blades. Thus, it can change the brightness of the room. Normally, the blinds must be manually rotated by the plastic tube on the blinds to adjust the angle of the blades on the blinds. The goal of this paper is that the blinds can automatically sense the outdoor brightness and adjust their opening and closing to achieve the effect of automatically adjusting the indoor brightness. It reveals that the operations of the proposed device coincide with the requirements. Finally, the operating principle of the adopted electric circuits and the performance of the proposed device are validated by experimental results. This paper uses the characteristics of the 89C51 single chip to simulate the automatic control of the opening and closing of the blinds model by the automatic control of the ambient light intensity. These technologies have been concentrated more so that this system can be used in domestic applications. Here we added an additional features which can able to detect the gas and notifies through GSM to a phone. The main advantage of the usage of the IR sensor is, it can count the number of individuals entering into the room and according to that it will improve the intensity of the LED. This will reduce the intensity of the LED according to the surrounding, by this the energy consumption is reduced. LUX sensor is used as light to digital converter which senses the brightness and with the help of ARDUINO. The ARDUINO UNO R3 is used as the main component which interfaces IR sensor, LUX sensor, GAS sensor and GSM module. This is because the existing light control systems cannot be applied to home and working place successfully. Though there are number of light control systems are introduced but most of them are outdated. To be specific, a light accounts for a huge part of the total energy consumption. The main reason for developing such project is that maximum energy is wasted due to inefficient use of the consumer appliances. This project proposes a framework to implement an intelligent lighting system. The accuracy of sensor is about 95% for both during light and dark. The sensitivity of photo resistor sensor had the sensitivity of 14Ω/nm during daytime, while 55Ω/nm during nighttime. Based on the result findings, the error finding between our expectation and real result is 2% error. Using combination of software and hardware designing, a prototype was created and tested. In this prototype, the system will start when the sensor detects illumination of light depending on the time of the day. This work allows easy maneuver for opening curtains using light sensors while reusing and recycling old boxes and CD's to create a DIY item. This project is based on the theme of 3R (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle). Our third objective is to make an automatic curtain which opens and closes following the surrounding brightness. Our second objective is to instill healthy lifestyle habits in student's life. Our objective is to prevent and to alert the students on the time it was at that time. The issue here is that natural lighting are not used since students depends on artificial lights, so curtains usually remain closed for long hours which is not a healthy lifestyle. Often than not, most would depend on artificial lights such as the room lamps and computer lights. College students often sleep at odd times be it in the evening or in early mornings due to being night owls.
